ASC VF STC are sub-construction systems for mounting cassettes made of composite panels or sheet metal, and solid panels/boards made of fiber cement, HPL, Knauf and Aquapanel boards, and ceramics of all production thicknesses.
In contemporary architecture, besides glass facades, claddings made of other types of materials are often applied, such as composite panels, various types of ceramics, fiber cement boards, HPL boards, metal sheet claddings, and similar materials.
These claddings are usually designed over concrete walls, which inherently have poor thermal properties.
For these reasons, the system of ventilated facades was developed. They serve the function of aesthetic shaping of the building as well as providing additional thermal protection.
Specifically, a sub-construction is installed via a system of anchors, which is tasked with receiving and supporting the decorative cladding. Simultaneously, the sub-construction ensures a distance between the final cladding and the thermal insulation layer, thereby providing ventilation for that space.
These types of claddings/facades are widely used in building reconstructions and for providing them with additional thermal protection.
ASC possesses sub-constructions and accompanying materials for all types of claddings currently used in design and execution.
The trend towards rapid construction and tall buildings necessitated the development of facade systems with uniform units that are brought to the site as finished, prefabricated elements and fixed to the building structure via an anchor system.
The ASC engineering team was among the first to recognize the need for such systems, resulting in the first building with finished floor-height panels being executed more than 25 years ago on the Službeni list building in Belgrade in 1997. This marked the first steps, stemming from the investor’s requirement to replace the facade without a single day of work interruption.
A solution from the Italian company Al Progetti from Trieste was used with certain modifications. Collaboration was later established, and our team continued to develop this system into a true UNITIZED FACADE SYSTEM. Among the first more serious projects was AIRPORT CITY in Belgrade, initiated in 2003, which encompasses over 15 buildings, with “AIRPORT CITY 2400” currently being completed.
In addition to this project, many buildings have been executed in Serbia, Montenegro, the Russian Federation, Kuwait, and elsewhere.
Among others, this project in the unitized facade system is the best proof of the successful and quality solution provided by our team. In one place, one can see buildings constructed 20 years ago alongside the construction of new ones.
EF 70 is a unitized facade system with a long tradition. Over a period of 20 years, many improvements and technical innovations have been implemented, ensuring the system remains competitive today in terms of its technical performance (resistance to wind loads, resistance to water leakage, air permeability, and thermal protection).

A classic facade where the horizontal and vertical load-bearing profiles have a visible width of 75mm.
CLASSIC FACADE SYSTEM
These are facade systems where the load-bearing structure consists of a grid of horizontal and vertical profiles of the same width, joined together by special aluminum connectors.
They are attached to the building structure, usually at the floor slab level, via specially designed galvanized or aluminum anchors connected to the load-bearing vertical profiles.
The infill of the transparent fields consists of glass panels, either double or triple-glazed.
There are several solutions for opening fields:

With a structural sash and outward opening.

With a window frame and classic opening inward.

With a window frame and an invisible sash.
The final cladding consists of aluminum profiles of the same width, with a sub-construction.
These systems can be applied to enclose all types of buildings, although their installation requires scaffolding for the entire duration of the assembly process, which is longer because the sub-construction, then the infill, and finally the final cladding and trims around the facade are mounted separately.
For these reasons, the classic facade system is recommended for lower buildings, tall ground-floor shopfronts where classic window systems do not meet static requirements, for skylights on buildings where scaffolding is already in use for other facade works, and similar applications.
